Mammography is a low dose x-ray, and is used to view the internal structure of breast tissue and allows physicians to detect breast cancer.

Mammography helps doctors detect breast cancers before they can be felt. It is currently the preferred method of screening for breast cancer. When detected early, the survival rate for breast cancer is 92%. Breast cancer is second only to lung cancer as the leading cause for cancer death for women.

The Comprehensive Breast Center of Oklahoma is a state of the art facility, providing a complete range of breast health services in an attractive, private and comfortable setting.
